About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Worker to lead our innovative Step Up Step Down programme in Powys. As the main point of contact for implementation and delivery, you will work closely with the local authority team to provide time-limited, preventative support to families on the edge of care.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the lives, experiences, and outcomes for children and young people. You will need to have experience of working alongside families, providing information and support to both families and foster carers. As a trauma-informed practitioner, you will lead groups and activities for children and young people, building relationships and engaging with community support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training to parents and foster carers
  • Lead groups and activities for children and young people
  • Build relationships and engage with community support services
  • Work within a trauma-informed setting with a solution-focused approach
