Job DescriptionThis position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. The successful candidate will ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs and counsel with patients on new and additional medications.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on medications and treatments.
- Conduct regular reviews of patient medication regimens to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy business plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and research.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license are required.
- Experience: At least [X] years of experience as a pharmacist is preferred.
- Skillset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent leadership and performance management skills, and proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies are necessary.
The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
