About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our North East Division's Technical team. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the Head of Technical and managing multiple developments, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality engineering information.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with senior team members to gain valuable experience in day-to-day duties
  • Coordinate and control all engineering information between external consultants and internal departments
  • Verify accuracy, correctness, and commercial suitability of engineering drawings and details
  • Ensure technical approvals for s38 and 104 agreements
  • Liaise with external consultants to meet deadlines
  • Pursue statutory body approval for Engineering Design and Ground Remediation
  • Attend site visits and meetings as required to resolve construction process issues
  • Participate in design meetings with highways and drainage departments to understand council requirements for new developments
  • Provide engineering and technical support to site teams

Requirements:



  • Experience working in volume house building or consultancy roles, with AutoCAD skills desirable
  • Experience performing duties expected in an engineering role

Qualifications and Training:



  • Degree-level qualifications or HNC/HND in Construction/Engineering subjects with relevant experience
  • CSCS card or equivalent
  • Current full UK driving license
