Job Description

Source Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Test Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our deliverables and providing support to our business stakeholders during the Acceptance Phase.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create high-level test plans to determine testing levels for each project
  • Design test cases in accordance with requirements specifications
  • Develop and execute test specifications
  • Produce System Integration Test Evaluation Reports
  • Review plans and cases written by other team members
  • Maintain documentation relating to applications to aid future testing
  • Recommend changes to internal standards and procedures where appropriate
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience with loans and trade remittance
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and instruments (equities, fixed income derivatives)
  • Familiarity with Order Management Systems
  • Understanding of risk and control frameworks
  • Experience with trade capture, trade lifecycle management, settlement processes, and post-trade processes
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and Trade Reporting
  • Experience with Audit and compliance reporting
  • Data warehousing
  • In-depth understanding of the software development process and overall project life cycle
  • Excellent business acumen and client-facing skills
  • Able to understand business user requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to contribute to major business change
  • Self-assured, dynamic, and open to ideas
  • Able to work well within a team structure
