Opus People Solutions: A Leader in Children's Residential Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to join our team at Opus People Solutions. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care and support for young people in our care.

About the Role:

  • Manage the daily operations of our EBD children's residential home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to uphold high care standards, in line with National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure the welfare and well-being of our young people.
  • Recruit, induct, and supervise staff, providing development plans and fostering effective communication.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in residential care, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior position.
  • Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • NVQ 4 in Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent) or working towards.
