Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

Bright Solicitors is a forward-thinking firm committed to delivering exceptional service to its expanding client base in the South West of England.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property solicitor to join our team, with a strong technical ability and a proven track record in managing a caseload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a wide range of commercial property matters, including real estate acquisitions, portfolio management, and commercial landlord and tenant work.
  • Provide commercial property support to the firm's Commercial Team.
  • Manage day-to-day caseload, keep up to date with changes and developments in areas of law, and build and maintain a network of contacts and referrers.
  • Work well both independently and as part of the wider team.
Main Purpose of the Role:
  • To undertake legal work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the team.
  • Draft legal documents, research, and problem-solve issues.
  • Keep up with changes in legislation and industry developments.
  • Market the team and bring in new business.
  • Work with legal assistants and apprentices within the team and contribute to their development.
  • Assist with training of team members and other colleagues within the firm.
  • Cover holiday of other team members.
  • Adhere to agreed practice procedure and comply with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules.
  • Assist with account audits and Lexcel audits.
  • Participate in marketing and training activities.

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
