RSK Geosciences is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a rewarding and challenging career with opportunities for Continuous Professional Development.

The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to a range of external clients, including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. As a Graduate Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in designing and managing geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and managing geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects
  • Oversight of ground investigations
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards
  • Geotechnical analysis and design

Requirements:

  • BEng or BSc or equivalent in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or similar
  • Desirable: further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science
  • Registered with a suitable professional body (e.g. Geol Soc, CIWEM, ICE)
  • Basic understanding of geology, ground investigation works, engineering geology, and geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering
  • UK drivers license is critical
