Game Development Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join our team at Jagex. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our game engine and scripts.
About the Job:- You will be responsible for designing and implementing gameplay mechanics, systems, and interactions using our in-house scripting language, RuneScript.
- Work closely with the game design and programming teams to translate design concepts into technical requirements.
- Provide technical input to the entire team to ensure all content is technically efficient and sound.
- Contribute to the development of new features and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Technical experience with scripting or programming languages such as LUA, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control software like Perforce.
- Ability to guide, mentor, and inspire other team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a game design or development team.
- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.
