About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as Chief Asset Strategist. In this role, you will play a key leadership position in managing asset performance, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance for Watford Community Housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective asset management strategies that align with our purpose, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with key regulations such as the Decent Homes Standard, Consumer Regulations, CDM Regulations, and sustainability frameworks.
  • Analyse complex data to establish the performance of WCH's homes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage complex projects with a focus on delivering value for money, quality outcomes for customers, and compliance with relevant standards.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on housing and the environment. You will have extensive experience in asset management, building surveying, and sustainability, preferably within the residential sector.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in asset management, building surveying, and sustainability, preferably within the residential sector.
  • Experience in delivering successful asset management and investment programmes.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and sustainability frameworks.
  • Strong data analysis, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and managing risks.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including 28 days' annual leave (pro rata), an employer pension contribution of up to 11%, development opportunities, and access to a comprehensive employee rewards scheme.
