Cardiology Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiology Specialist to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Cardiac Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions.

Main Duties

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with cardiac disease
• Represent the service and provide information to service users, GPs, and healthcare professionals
• Provide safe practice and liaise with Primary and Secondary Care Practitioners regarding patient care and medical management
• Offer specialist cardiology advice and act as a patient advocate

Person Specification

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy
• Registered Clinician (NMC/HCPC) to degree level or equivalent
• Post registration training or equivalent experience in Coronary heart disease management
• Minimum of 1 year's experience of caring for patients with cardiac conditions
