Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy practices and tools tailored to meet project delivery challenges
  • Work with the local engineering delivery team to improve efficiency and identify gaps for continuous improvement
  • Encourage adoption of new technologies and tools
  • Capture and share knowledge and assets
  • Allocate Subject Matter Experts and enable coaching within the team
  • Manage and develop individual and collective team skills, ensuring allocation of people to products/projects
  • Contribute to bids and project peer reviews, reducing technical/engineering risks and increasing confidence to deliver

About the Role:

  • Significant experience in team management
  • Ability to oversee systems-related activities and thrive in a challenging environment
  • Leadership skills to engage and develop the team through collaborative work and challenging approaches
  • Ability to share knowledge and help people develop themselves, making you a great mentor and team-player

Requirements:

  • Substantial knowledge of systems engineering, including technology, tools, methods, and processes
  • Good awareness of adjacent functions
  • Experience leading complex multi-disciplinary teams, defining processes, practices, and tools to deliver systems engineering or IVVQ campaigns
  • Track record of developing people and leading teams through change and continuous improvement
  • Ability to develop a strategic vision and bring teams along the journey to promote improved delivery and competitiveness
