Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related questions from sales prospects and customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Manage and develop compliance policies, processes, and training programs.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to internal controls, laws and regulations (e.g., data privacy). Identify and assess risks and suggest improvements.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise leadership on the implications for the company's operations.
  • Communicate updates to internal teams about compliance obligations and act as the key point of contact for compliance queries.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain documentation of all compliance activities, audit reports, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and monitor compliance of third-party vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure they align with the company's compliance standards.
  • Conduct due diligence and regular assessments of vendor agreements to mitigate any compliance risks.


Requirements:

  • Experience in compliance or a related role within a financial technology setting.
  • Knowledge of risk management and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks.
  • Understanding of data privacy laws including GDPR.
