Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Adaptive Planning Expert to join our team at Kainos. As a key member of our delivery team, you will work closely with clients to transform their business planning needs using the Adaptive Planning Business Planning Cloud.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expertise on the Adaptive Planning solution, maintaining proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning solution suite.
- Contribute to implementation for our clients, including:
- Working with clients to understand their current planning process and taking a consultative approach to move legacy models into Adaptive Planning.
- Investigating and recommending the best solution based on the client's requirements, budget, and timeframe.
- Assisting in guiding clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of each client's unique business requirements.
- Developing and configuring accurate forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning to meet clients' business needs.
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of training sessions for users.
- Documenting the planning models and reporting delivered to clients.
- Ensuring rapid time to value through delivering engagements on time and budget.
- Supporting our clients to ensure success, communicating regularly, concisely, and clearly with clients to set proper expectations and ensure client success.
- Collaborating internally, sharing learnings and problems solved with colleagues.
- Workday certification in Adaptive Planning.
- Exposure to designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility, and empathy.
- Ability to execute individual tasks with limited supervision and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure.
- Evident consulting skills, including presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating, and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or Business.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or a Part Qualified Accountant with strong industry experience.
- Previous consulting experience.
