We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Support Worker to join our team in mainstream primary schools in the Rochdale and surrounding area. You will be supporting young pupils in a full-time position (8.30 AM -3.30 PM - Monday to Friday).

The school places a strong emphasis on personalised inclusion, offering a creative and aspirational learning journey tailored to each child's needs, promoting independence and character growth. Key Responsibilities:
1. Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate effectively according to their understanding.
2. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
3. Assist with classroom management to create an inclusive learning environment.
4. Support children in developing daily living skills for increased independence.
5. Monitor and report on the child's progress to facilitate appropriate adjustments in support.

Requirements:
1. Good understanding of the national Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Curriculums.
2. Ability to adapt in response to changing circumstances.
3. Willingness to be a supportive member of the SEND team.
4. Ability to handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding.
5. Confidence to evaluate learning needs and actively seek new teaching methods.
