Job Summary:

Tigerlily Childcare Berks and Bucks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education for our young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging learning programs that meet the needs of all children
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of children, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to childcare and education
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care
  • Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong track record of leadership and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
