About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing complex financial statements and tax computations for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and tax computations for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Oversee the preparation of simple financial statements and tax computations for junior team members.
  • Assist in the completion of audit field work on clients' premises.
  • Carry out stock take auditing unassisted.
  • Attend planning meetings and take responsibility for audit field work.
  • Finalise tax return packs in electronic format for upward review.
  • Deal directly with clients to clarify outstanding matters and resolve queries.
Requirements
  • CFAB or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Iris software.
  • Good client service skills and communication skills.
  • Team working and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Adaptable and able to manage several jobs simultaneously.
