Job Title: Interim Accountant - Manufacturing

Location: North West England, South Manchester - hybrid with occasional office visits

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours

Industry: Manufacturing and Production

Our client, a leading international manufacturing company, is undergoing a transformative period. To support this change, they are seeking a skilled Interim Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing, with expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for the manufacturing department
  • Manage costing activities and provide cost accounting support
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Conduct regular financial audits and recommend process improvements
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications in accounting or finance
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, Oracle
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential for travel to other manufacturing sites on occasion
