Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Assistant to join a secondary SEMH school in Ellesmere Port on a temporary, supply basis through Academics Ltd.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and the skills and resilience to work with students displaying challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Providing a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
