About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the efficient and compliant delivery of structural engineering design on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of structural engineering design on projects, working closely with the Principal Structural Engineer and Lead Project Engineer.
  • Provide day-to-day engineering design support and client liaison services in relation to structural engineering issues.
  • Have design responsibility for parts of the structural design works on projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in large energy transmission and distribution projects, or large energy projects and heavy industrial projects.
  • Ability to solve structural engineering problems using various methods of analysis and media.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, construction plant and machinery, temporary support systems, material testing procedures, construction programmes, and construction sequencing.
