Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Control Manager to join our team. This standalone role requires someone with extensive B2C credit control experience in the retail sector.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Independently manage the credit control process for consumer customers, ensuring timely collection of small debts within the retail sector.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for recovering overdue payments while maintaining excellent customer service.
  3. Handle escalated cases, negotiating payment plans with customers, and resolving disputes professionally.
  4. Monitor debtor balances and aged debt, regularly reporting on performance and key metrics to senior management.
  5. Collaborate remotely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a unified approach to consumer credit management.

Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a standalone credit control role, particularly within B2C retail.
  2. Skilled in managing and recovering small, high-volume debts from consumer customers.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain positive customer relationships during the debt recovery process.
  4. Strong analytical skills for generating reports and tracking performance.
  5. Ability to work independently without direct in-person management.
  6. Good knowledge of credit laws and regulations affecting consumer debt.
