Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at Optimum Recruitment Group Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic commercial guidance to a growing medium-sized organisation based on the outskirts of Leeds.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and a drive to lead the function. As Chief Financial Strategist, you will work closely with the Management Team to provide the Board with high-quality, insightful management information to aid and influence decision-making.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and collaborating with a team of business partners to deliver robust plans and forecasts.
• Managing day-to-day operations of Group forecasting, planning, and corporate reporting processes.
• Preparing and evaluating revenue line PL's on a monthly basis to improve profitability and performance with the team.
• Providing guidance, reviewing inputs, and offering insights while challenging assumptions.
• Creating high-quality monthly board packs for the Group FC and CFO, presenting plans, forecasts, and actual results in an insightful manner that drives actions at the board level.
• Working with the management team to review monthly performance against budget and determine necessary actions to be taken as a result.
