Maintenance Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all site plant and equipment. This includes power presses, laser cutting machines, punch machines, automated production lines, and assembly lines.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification and experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. You should have a strong understanding of maintenance techniques and procedures, as well as knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

This is a full-time position working a continental shift pattern, with a salary of up to £65,000 per annum including shift allowance. Additional benefits include a company-wide bonus based on attendance, productivity, and quality; 33 days annual leave plus a holiday purchasing scheme; life insurance three times your salary; pension contributions matched to 5%; access to Westfield Health provision; and access to our Smart Spending platform.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for maintenance and problem-solving. They will be responsible for maintaining equipment, analysing downtime, and implementing solutions to reduce it. The role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
