The successful candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with a proven track record of leading audits from planning to completion. They will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management, and working closely with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to oversee junior team members, manage workflow, review work, and identify training opportunities. They will also be a go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including generous annual leave, contributory pension scheme, employee assistance program, flexible working, and health and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management
  • Lead audits from planning to completion and deliver audit files ensuring technical accuracy
  • Work closely with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Oversee junior team members, including managing workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function
  • Be a go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with five years post qualification experience
  • Working knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS
  • Adept at leading audits from planning to completion
  • Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills
  • A commercial mindset and eagerness to support business growth
