About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our Corporate Development team, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing strategic acquisitions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the M&A Director in leading live transactions from origination to completion
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential M&A opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential deals
  • Evaluate target companies' financial performance, market position, and strategic fit
  • Initiate and maintain communication with potential targets and their advisors
  • Develop a working rapport with diligence advisors, accountancy firms, investment banks, and corporate finance houses
  • Manage the administration of M&A deals, including preparing presentations and coordinating projects
  • Report to the board on deal progress and present complex financial information and deal structures to stakeholders at various levels
Requirements
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Prior M&A experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrates ability to think innovatively and strategically
