Quality Manager Job Description

Join a reputable, established manufacturer experiencing strong growth and looking to improve their Quality function. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality processes are to the highest standard across the business by working alongside internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key suppliers / SQE teams to ensure issues are effectively resolved in a timely manner and ongoing performance is improved.
  • Support PPAP activities and implement TQM processes across the business.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Aftermarket teams and Suppliers to ensure site quality / delivery issues are clearly defined, quantified, root cause established, and effective corrective actions taken.
  • Be the focal point of all site quality issues from engineering, through supply chain and operations and aftermarkets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within a Quality Management role who can maintain and develop the quality systems.
  • Expert knowledge in the application of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), problem resolution techniques and improvement tools essential.
  • Strong auditing experience and someone who is very process driven.
  • Have an understanding of more advanced quality tools & techniques e.g DFMEA, PPAP etc.
