Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

Dr. Sauer & Partners is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic and technically focused engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting project delivery and client relationships.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in geotechnical engineering and a passion for delivering technical excellence to our clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Master's degree in Geotechnical or a related field and experience gained from multiple design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate ground conditions and obtain rock and soil parameters from geotechnical investigation reports.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis, including foundation and tunnel design, slope stability, and ground movement assessment.
  • Develop excavation sequences and set up numerical models and design sketches.
  • Draft technical notes and design reports, and produce CAD sketches for design communication.
  • Develop Bill of Quantities, design and construction programmes, resource schedules, and other support documents.
  • Participate in and adhere to Dr. Sauer & Partners' quality management system accredited to ISO 9001:2015.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Geotechnical or a related field.
  • Experience gained from multiple design projects.
  • Thorough working knowledge and excellent understanding of geotechnical engineering.
  • Experience gained on projects of FE Analyses, calculation reports, and production of design packages.
