Helicopter Engineering Professional

At SOLOS Consultants Ltd, we are looking for an experienced Helicopter Engineering Professional to join our team in Oxford. The successful candidate will hold a Part 66 B1.3 Licence and have extensive experience in helicopter engineering.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time, 12-month contract initially, with potential for extension. The role involves working as a team leader and supervising maintenance fitters to ensure continued safe operation of helicopters.
Main Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by maintenance supervisors, requiring a Part 66 Licence in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft).
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high standards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, and mechanical and electrical systems, focusing on quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and certify the work of maintenance fitters.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, including helicopter movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
- A Part 66 B1.3 Licence is essential; candidates without a licence but with relevant experience may be considered if studying for a licence.
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the company and its customers.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.
