At SOLOS Consultants Ltd, we are looking for an experienced Helicopter Engineering Professional to join our team in Oxford. The successful candidate will hold a Part 66 B1.3 Licence and have extensive experience in helicopter engineering.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, 12-month contract initially, with potential for extension. The role involves working as a team leader and supervising maintenance fitters to ensure continued safe operation of helicopters.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Carry out maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by maintenance supervisors, requiring a Part 66 Licence in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft).
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high standards and maintain a safe working environment.
  3. Complete maintenance tasks, including airframe structure, power plant, and mechanical and electrical systems, focusing on quality and efficiency.
  4. Supervise and certify the work of maintenance fitters.
  5. Assist with day-to-day operations, including helicopter movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements
  1. A Part 66 B1.3 Licence is essential; candidates without a licence but with relevant experience may be considered if studying for a licence.
  2. Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the company and its customers.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.
