Job Title: KDB Engineer

We are seeking a skilled KDB Engineer to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) strategy, you will play a vital role in strengthening engineering expertise, introducing an agile delivery model, and modernizing our IT infrastructure.

As a KDB Engineer, you will develop and deliver significant components of engineering solutions to satisfy complex and diverse business goals. You will engage and partner with the business while working within a broader creative, collaborative, and innovative team with a strong desire to make an impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking development projects across functional and non-functional project goals
Investing in automated testing coverage and improving the autotest tooling
Performance research and the ability to apply out-of-the-box thinking to solve performance bottlenecks
Closing collaboration with eFX Quantitative research teams on a wide range of topics, including system design, API, and implementation
Clear and concise documentation covering solution design, architecture choices, and complicated code points

Your Skills and Experience:

Working experience with large time series databases, with KDB/Q knowledge highly desirable
In-depth knowledge of C and C++ programming languages with a focus on performant code design
A track record of delivering complex technical solutions to production use
Knowledge of modern SDLC toolset and workflows
