Join Goldman Sachs as an Audit Manager and contribute to the firm's mission to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of its internal control structure.
About the RoleAs a key member of the Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for providing assurance on the firm's technology controls, including data integrity, applications stability, and system operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations to improve control processes.
Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and execution of technology audits, including risk assessment, scoping, and testing.
- Analyze the design and effectiveness of technology controls, including data analysis, code inspection, and re-performance of system processes.
- Document the results of audit tests and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations to improve control processes.
- BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA in Systems/MSc or equivalent University degrees in technology.
- 3-6 years of experience as a technology auditor covering IT application and general controls, application development, SQA, information security, technology consulting, or other relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of software development and system architecture.
- High-level understanding of databases, operating systems, and messaging.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Financial Services knowledge and financial product knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to review/develop code (Java, C#, C++, Python, VBA macros, etc.).
- Experience with Data Analytics tools and techniques.
- Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CISA, CISSP, etc.).
