As an Executive Commercial Project Director at Turner & Townsend Group, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile projects and driving business growth. Located in our London office, this exciting opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional with expertise in interior fit-out projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Project Management Corporate Occupier team. As Executive Commercial Project Director, you will be responsible for leading project commissions from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery that meets client objectives and time, cost, and quality targets.

Your key accountabilities will include establishing project success criteria, leading on compliance and governance, and managing project finances. You will also be responsible for advising on contract administration processes, claims resolution, and disputes.

Internal management accountabilities will include knowledge management, financial management, and line management. You will mentor and develop line reports, carry out performance reviews, and identify skills gaps within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
  • Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters
  • Leading on compliance for quality, safety, health, and environment issues on project commissions
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout the project
  • Lead on project planning, including producing detailed project plans
  • Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques
  • Leading and advising on project finances
  • Leading and advising on contract administration processes, claims resolution, and disputes
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and clients through regular meetings and written communications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or related fields
  • At least 10 years of experience working on interior fit-out projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Project)
  • Good analytical skills, able to execute multiple projects simultaneously without disruptions
  • Demonstrated experience of willingness and ability to consistently dive deep into project delivery, creative problem-solving, and ability to push past barriers to achieve full project execution
Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £80,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure takes into consideration the location of the job, industry standards, and required skills and qualifications.
