Job Description

Military Airworthiness Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Military Airworthiness Reviews on behalf of the MOD, working alone or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate compliance with current regulations and legislation when delivering outputs required by the Regulator and customer.
  • Build sustainable relationships with customers and prepare detailed technical reports to both internal and external customers.
  • Work flexibly within the AtkinsRéalis Military Airworthiness Team and identify future business opportunities.
  • Ensure a robust code of ethics underpins Mil AR service delivery, adopting the ethical principles published by the Engineering Council and Royal Academy of Engineering.
  • Uphold the values of AtkinsRéalis at all times.

Requirements:

  • Compliance with MRP RA 4972 (Military Airworthiness Review Surveyors – MRP Part M Sub Part I).
  • Experience of working on fixed wing aircraft.
  • Competence to make engineering airworthiness decisions.
  • Detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and the MAA Regulatory publications (MRP).
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to deal effectively with multiple issues whilst working to tight timescales.

About the Role

As a Military Airworthiness Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality airworthiness reviews and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the AtkinsRéalis Military Airworthiness Team to identify future business opportunities and build sustainable relationships with customers.
