Job Summary

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our Children in Care service, providing strategic direction and ensuring sustainable growth and development.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of senior management in children's residential care, demonstrating expertise in Safeguarding and acting with entrepreneurial spirit to lead the growth of the provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and ensure sustainable growth and development at a pace that matches our ambitions for rapid growth over the next four years.

• Lead the growth of the provision through overseeing and project managing the sourcing and registration of new homes and services.

• Manage the budget, assets and resources for this service area in excess of £10m.

• Ensure that the service is well placed to take advantage of external funding opportunities, block contacts and service level agreements which support our growth and strategic aims.

• Be responsible for the support of safeguarding all of children in our Children in Care Service, ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and implemented effectively.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent business management qualification or, willingness to undertake one with our support.

• Higher/further level qualification in a relevant field (business, psychological, social care).
