Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer in central Chichester. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a focus on maintaining production lines and ensuring seamless operation of plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide effective maintenance on production lines, minimizing downtime and ensuring maximum efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes, address breakdowns, and implement planned preventive maintenance initiatives.
  3. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues, and develop solutions to improve overall efficiency and safety.
  4. Work closely with the production team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  5. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's production processes and equipment, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Demonstrable success in a maintenance-centric position, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  2. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  3. Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  4. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  5. Strong understanding of health and safety protocols, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
