Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, conducting thorough financial analysis, and maintaining forecasting models to assist with our strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assist with the decision-making process. Create and maintain financial models. Assist with project and resource costings, as well as case profitability analysis.
  • Financial Forecasting: Create and maintain forecasting models to support the firm's strategy. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.
  • Budget Management: Work closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and track performance against budgeted targets.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, Law Society regulations, and internal policies. Coordinate with external auditors for audits and other compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CA) is preferred. Part qualified and qualified by experience will also be considered
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Oracle, QuickBooks)
