Job Description:
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits and career progression opportunities. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our QHSE management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. You will work closely with our production manager to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide leadership on safety-related matters. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the NCR register and CAR process
• Collecting, analysing, and reporting quality, health, safety, and environment statistics
• Conducting regular shop floor audits to identify poor practice
• Developing and delivering a Health & Safety plan with a robust compliance framework
• Ensuring risk assessments are carried out accurately and control measures are implemented appropriately
About You:
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering or a similar field. You should have a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety and/or a Quality assurance qualification. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage and positively influence others. If you have a flexible approach to work and are able to deal with the demands of the business, we would love to hear from you.
