About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Head Resourcing. As a key member of our solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of products, applications, and tools.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to pick up languages and technologies quickly, with a strong background in full-stack development and commercial experience in defining and mapping out engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation by collaborating with business, executive, and engineering teams to craft and deliver impactful features and enhancements.
  • Champion excellence by taking ownership of the codebase and ensuring that contributions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and stability.
  • Empower growth by mentoring junior engineers and providing insightful guidance and support to foster their development and success within the team.
  • Lead by example by advocating for and implementing best practices in software engineering, such as automated testing, thorough code reviews, and continuous integration.
  • Stay ahead by keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to propel the team forward.
Requirements
  • Significant prior experience in a role related to software engineering (full stack)
  • Producer of good quality code, built to commonly accepted standards
  • Formal qualification in a related discipline such as Developer Foundation, Developer Engineering Certifications or Equivalent
  • A leader of your work and your professional learning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
  • Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions
