Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Secondary School Cover Supervisor to join our team at NextGen Teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible working arrangements, including supply, part-time, or full-time positions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering a range of subjects across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in various secondary schools located in and around Leeds. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Cover Supervisor or Qualified Secondary Teacher and possess a strong ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Covering classes in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities
  • Working with students of different ages and abilities, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • At least one year of experience as a Cover Supervisor or Qualified Secondary Teacher
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • A minimum of two professional references
  • The right to work in the UK
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
