We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning, supporting children with special educational needs in our Long Eaton setting.

About the Role

  • To work collaboratively with our class teachers and other support staff to ensure every child receives the best possible education.
  • Provide tailored support to children during lessons and activities, promoting their learning and well-being.
  • Manage pupils' personalised learning plans, tracking progress and celebrating successes.
  • Deliver small group or one-to-one activities, encouraging social skills and confidence.
  • Collect evidence of children's work, showcasing their achievements and milestones.
  • Support the physical and emotional needs of children, providing care and reassurance.
