TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our client's team in Worthing. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a prestigious client base, including actors, artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaising with HMRC: Correspond with HMRC regarding clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters.
- Tax Advisory Services: Draft reports and letters of advice on various tax advisory issues, including corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemes.
- Calculation and Reporting: Prepare calculations to support tax advice and ensure accurate reporting.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and attend meetings with other team members to discuss tax-related matters.
- Training and Review: Train and review the work of junior team members to ensure high-quality tax advisory services.
- Support to Directors: Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Corporate Tax: Assist the team with advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemes.
- Owner-Managed Businesses: Advise owner-managed businesses on remuneration planning, succession planning, and other tax-related matters.
- Tax Returns: Prepare research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns.
- Individual Tax: Advise individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
- Corporate Tax Computations: Review corporate tax computations and returns.
- Qualifications: CTA qualified or AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified with a keen interest in studying towards CTA.
- Experience: Essential experience in corporate taxes, with beneficial experience in other areas of tax.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, good IT skills, excellent teamwork and organisational skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Interest: A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge.
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
