Job Title: Senior Mechanical and Electrical Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced M&E Design Manager to join our client's expanding Technical Department in the Gateshead area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP design and relevant Building Services experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend pre-order meetings to ensure sub-contract orders are compliant with contract and programme requirements.

Provide support for sequencing and programming the installation of MEP services.

Monitor MEP procurement and provide support to project delivery teams.

Review and coordinate design programmes, information release schedules, and inspection test plans.

Coordinate MEP design with building structure, fabric, and constraints.

Review and comment on MEP design, including drawings and technical submittals.

Provide technical support during the commissioning process and assist in programming.

Requirements:

A HNC, HND, or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Building Services Engineering is required.
