Companion for a University Student

About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with physical disabilities?
We are seeking a dedicated Companion to join our client's existing care team in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

As a Companion, you will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, light domestic duties, and social activities. You will also be required to transport our client to his university appointments and other engagements. Our client is a young historian attending Manchester University, who requires assistance with all aspects of daily living due to being a full-time wheelchair user.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
• Meal preparation and light domestic duties
• Socialising and arranging day trips
• Transportation to university appointments and other engagements

Requirements:
Must be trustworthy, reliable, and have a sense of fun. You should be energetic, proactive, and motivated to deliver high-quality care. A clean UK driving license is essential, as well as the ability to work flexible hours to ensure 24/7 cover is maintained. Previous experience in professional care is desirable but not essential, as you will receive full training around our client's care needs.
