Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operative to join our team at Avantor. As a Logistics Operative, you will play a critical role in providing critical logistics support to our customers and ensuring the delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide time-critical activities, including filling liquid nitrogen tanks, conducting daily delivery runs, and managing cryogenic deliveries.
  • Track and monitor sample movements using dedicated tracking systems.
  • Use specialized software for vehicle management and tracking internal deliveries.
  • Analyze and record usage trends for various materials and services.
  • Maintain and archive details records of materials and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • GCSE or equivalent secondary school qualification.
  • Experience working in a logistics environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to partner with internal and external teams, including couriers and suppliers.
  • Proven customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Outstanding communication skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn and adapt.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
