The successful candidate will provide proactive and reactive support to maintenance engineering teams across our Specialist Technology HIP Europe facilities. Key responsibilities include implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), ensuring continuous and safe equipment operation, minimizing incidents and breakdowns. Up to 60% of time spent traveling to European sites.

Job Description
  • Travel and remote support to HIP Europe sites for reactive and planned maintenance activities, including fault diagnosis and emergency repairs.
  • Manage/deliver small projects related to equipment improvements or installations.
  • Enhance asset reliability and overall plant efficiency by managing the MMS (Maintenance Management System) and ensuring spare parts availability.
  • Assist contractor coordination for servicing plant, machinery, and related services.
  • Standardize procedures for the safe operation and maintenance of HIP units.
  • Support the implementation of 5S principles in maintenance areas and share best practices across sites.

**Requirements**

  • HND in electromechanical engineering or similar qualification (NVQ level), with hands-on experience.
  • Proven experience in mechanical breakdown repair of plant, machinery, and services.
  • Experience working with compressors, gas handling, and electrical systems.
  • Ideally, experience with PLCs and control systems.
  • Fluency in English (German/French is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MMS software is a plus.
  • A team player with a collaborative attitude, flexible approach, and a strong drive for results.
  • Able and willing to travel across Europe (up to 60% of the time), with all necessary travel documents (passport, visa, etc.).
