About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychosocial Support Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals impacted by contaminated blood products, providing psychosocial support and navigation services.

As a key member of our Infected Blood Psychological Service (IBPS), you will be responsible for conducting outreach and psychosocial assessments, leading on engagement efforts across the South West region. You will also provide coordination and evaluation of the navigator service, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive support and guidance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and interventions for individuals accessing the IBPS
  • Lead on outreach efforts to engage people infected and affected across the South West region
  • Work closely with haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centres to coordinate psychological support and other aspects of the service
