About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a positive attitude, and are eager to learn. As a Highway Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining 48,000 kilometers of road and over 300,000 street lights in the UK.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training, including a LGC Class C (Cat C) driving license and Winter Service training. You will assist with various activities such as pothole repairs, excavation works, kerb laying, drainage installations, vegetation management, and other highway tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A full UK driving license
  • Experience working outdoors in a manual role (not essential)
  • Willingness to work towards gaining a CSCS card (training provided)
  • Proactive attitude and good communication skills
