Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Pricing Science team at Vermelo RPO. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in improving the performance and efficiency of our machine learning models.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming languages such as Python or R, along with expertise in data manipulation, machine learning, advanced analytics, and statistical techniques. Experience in insurance or other financial services is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new research and development projects to enhance the performance of our machine learning models
  • Collaborate with our data scientists to maintain and improve existing tools and platforms
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R, along with relevant data science and statistics libraries
  • Knowledge of data manipulations, machine learning, advanced analytics, and statistical techniques
  • Experience in insurance or other financial services (advantageous)
