Job Title: Community Health Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Health Advocate to join our team in Hounslow. As a Community Health Advocate, you will be responsible for delivering the Relationships and Sex Education Programme through outreach in the Borough of Hounslow to young people under the age of 24.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong passion for sexual health promotion. You will support in the development and delivery of a relationships and sex education programme promoting topics such as healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, sex and the law, STIs, contraception, reproductive health, online safety, LGBTQ+ awareness and the importance of self-esteem.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering quality work which is reported correctly to ensure outcomes and KPIs agreed with our commissioners
  • Engaging young people creatively by facilitating workshops for large school groups, including assemblies, drop-ins, community events, and one-to-one key working sessions
  • Registering young people for the C-Card Scheme and the National Chlamydia Screening Programme


This role requires flexibility with some evening and weekend work, and we particularly welcome applications from individuals who identify as South Asian to ensure our team reflects the diverse backgrounds and needs of the communities we serve.

Our total reward package includes:
  • 25 days' paid holiday a year + Bank Holidays, increasing with each year of service up to 27 days + Bank Holidays
  • The option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost


The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
