Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 14,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run 4 weekly, weekly, and monthly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Perform statutory calculations, including NI, SSP, SMP, and tax, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Respond to payroll queries and payment requests, providing excellent customer service.
  • Produce payroll reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with staff and line managers to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Run BACs reports, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Input annual leave, managing employee absences and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Oversee tax filings and HMRC pay queries, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Experience in payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
