Horticultural Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Horticultural Specialist to join our team at Salop Leisure Ltd.

$28,000 - $40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

As a traditional plant centre, we pride ourselves on our extensive range of hardy plants and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and greeting customers, providing expert advice on plant selection and care, creating seasonal displays, and maintaining a well-presented plant area.

• Meet and greet customers, providing guidance on plant selection and care.
• Design and create visually appealing seasonal displays that showcase our products.
• Maintain the plant area to ensure it remains attractive and well-presented.

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Horticultural qualification or equivalent experience within the industry (1 year minimum).
• Superior plant and horticultural knowledge.
• Possess a genuine passion for plants and gardening.
• Awareness of gardening seasons and the ability to adapt displays accordingly.
• Exceptional communication and sales skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• High attention to detail and creativity when designing displays.
• A team player with basic IT skills and a valid driving license (desirable).
