Job Title: Environmental Regulatory Specialist

Overview: Lipson Lloyd-Jones is a national law firm offering expert advice to organisations and individuals facing Health & Safety, criminal, environmental, CQC and other regulatory prosecutions.

About the Role: We are seeking a Regulatory Defence Solicitor to join our team which advises clients on health and safety and transport regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of post-qualified experience in Health & Safety, and preferably Transport Regulatory. The role involves undertaking training exercises for clients on health and safety topics, completing compliance reviews on health and safety, representing clients during external investigations by the police/HSE/local authority, and representing clients that have been prosecuted for health and safety, food safety and fire safety matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Undertake training exercises for clients on health and safety topics.
  • Complete compliance reviews on health and safety.
  • Represent clients during external investigations by the police/HSE/local authority.
  • Represent clients that have been prosecuted for health and safety, food safety and fire safety matters.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients. You should also have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and procedures, as well as experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders. A salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.
